APC Constitutes 61 Member Ekiti Governorship Campaign

The All Progressives Congress, APC has constituted a 61-member Ekiti state governorship campaign council to be chaired by Kebbi state governor Alhaji Atiku Bagudu.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, on Thursday in Abuja

Argungu stated that the council will be inaugurated by the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, on Monday, 23 May, by 9am at the National Secretariat

Deputy President of the Senate, Omo-Agege, governors Akeredolu, Yahaya Bello, Abubakar Badaru, Simon Lalong, Hope Uzodinma, Ben Ayade and some ministers, were also named in the 61-member council.

A statement by the National Organising Secretary of the party, Mallam Sulaiman Argungu, explains that the campaign council will be inaugurated next week Monday.

Mr Smar Iheasor is to serve as Secretary to the Campaign Council.

Ekiti state governorship election is scheduled for June 18, 2022, with Biodun Oyebanji as the All Progressives Congress, APC standard flagbearer.
